About CECA

The Centre of Excellence in Creative Arts (CECA) at St Hild’s is an inclusive and inspiring space where creativity thrives and talent is nurtured. It provides opportunities for both pupils and the wider community to engage in the arts, build confidence, and express themselves through performance, music, dance, and visual art.

Originally established as a creative arts facility for schools and the local community in West Hartlepool, CECA has become part of St Hild’s and continues to serve as a hub for cultural learning and community connection. From student productions and rehearsals to community workshops and exhibitions, CECA brings people together through shared creativity and collaboration.
